Rainer A. Melucci – CFE, CSC, CFC, FACFE, DACFE, CHSIII – is a Consultant with EED Co, Inc. Mr. Melucci is licensed in New York and New Jersey as a Private Investigator and specializes in Counter Surveillance consulting. He has over thirty years of law enforcement, private security, and counter surveillance experience in the public and private sectors.

Expertise and experience is everything when it comes to evaluating security threats, protecting you from electronic eavesdropping, and securing your sensitive information.  Mr. Melucci brings plenty of military, law enforcement, security and counter-surveillance experience to the job. Getting his start in the US Army Intelligence Unit in Fort Devens, he was mentored in electronic counter measures by James Ross, who taught Engineering at West Point. He also worked in the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) under Col. Frank P. Toscani.

Mr. Melucci is retired from the Detective Division of the New York City Transit Police Department specializing in the design and application of audio and visual counter surveillance techniques and technologies. His vast experience with the “Stakeout Unit” provides a wealth of experience in the practical applications of surveillance, counter surveillance, bug sweeps and bug detection techniques.

Mr. Melucci is a former Vice President of Investigations for Wells Fargo, He earned a baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice “Magna Cum Laude”.
